Last updated: June 2026
1. About this policy
This privacy policy applies when you visit beyonk.com (the "Beyonk website"), when you create an account on the Beyonk platform, and when you use any Beyonk-integrated website or service. It covers how we collect, use, store and protect personal information about you.
Beyonk Ltd (company number 11994212, England and Wales) and Beyonk US Holdings Inc. are jointly the data controllers for the purposes of this policy. Where we refer to "Beyonk", "we", "us" or "our", this means both entities collectively.
If you have any questions about this policy or wish to exercise your privacy rights, please contact us at support@beyonk.com.
2. The data we collect
We collect the following categories of personal information:
- Identity and contact data: your name, email address, phone number, company name and physical address.
- Account data: login credentials, business profile information, service listings, availability, staff names and details, qualifications and insurance documents (where provided for vetting purposes).
- Transaction data: booking details, financial data, payment records and refund information.
- Usage data: how you interact with the Beyonk platform, including pages visited, features used and session data.
- Communications: messages you send via the platform, including correspondence with end customers and with Beyonk support.
- Survey responses: any information you provide in response to surveys conducted by Beyonk or third parties via our platform.
- SMS support data: where you contact our support team by text message, we collect your mobile number, the content of messages exchanged, and the date and time of contact.
3. How we use personal information
3.1 Platform operation
We use your personal information to operate, maintain and improve the Beyonk platform, process bookings and payments, manage your account, and provide customer support.
3.2 Communications
We send operational communications you cannot opt out of, as these are essential to the use of the platform.
These include:
- booking confirmations, reminders and amendments;
- refund and cancellation notifications;
- critical system updates and security notices;
- responses to support queries you have raised, including via SMS.
We also send marketing communications where you have opted in. You can opt out of marketing communications at any time using the unsubscribe link in any email, or by contacting us directly.
3.3 Analytics and improvement
We use aggregated, anonymised usage data to understand how the platform is used and to develop new features. No individual is identifiable from this data.
3.4 Legal compliance
We may use and retain your data where required to comply with applicable law, to respond to lawful requests from law enforcement or regulatory authorities, or to establish or defend legal claims.
4. SMS support communications
4.1 What we collect
When you contact Beyonk's support team via SMS, we collect your mobile phone number, the content of messages sent and received, and the date and time of each message. We may also collect account information you share within the conversation in order to identify and assist you.
4.2 How we use it
SMS support data is used solely to respond to and resolve the support query you have initiated. It is not used for marketing or promotional purposes, and it is not shared with third parties for any purpose unrelated to resolving your query.
4.3 Lawful basis
For UK and EU users, our lawful basis for processing SMS support data is legitimate interests: we have a legitimate interest in resolving support queries raised by our registered business users, and this processing is necessary to do so effectively.
For US users, by texting our support number you are initiating contact and thereby providing implicit consent to receive responsive messages from Beyonk for the purpose of resolving your query.
4.4 Retention
SMS support conversations are retained as part of your support record for up to 24 months from the date of the conversation, after which they are deleted. You may request earlier deletion by contacting support@beyonk.com, subject to any legal obligation to retain records.
4.5 No marketing use
Your mobile number and SMS conversation data will not be shared with any third party or affiliate for marketing or promotional purposes. SMS opt-in data collected during a support interaction will not be used for any purpose other than resolving the query for which you made contact.
4.6 Third-party SMS processors
We use third-party technology providers to operate our SMS support channel. These providers act as data processors on our behalf, are bound by data processing agreements, and are required to implement appropriate security measures. They may not use your data for their own purposes.
4.7 Opting out
You can stop SMS communications from Beyonk at any time by replying STOP to any message you receive from us. We will acknowledge your opt-out and use an alternative channel (email or phone) to complete any open support query. Reply HELP for alternative contact options.
5. Sharing your data with third parties
We share personal data only in the following circumstances:
- With the Beyonk-based business you have booked with or enquired about, so they can manage your booking.
- With critical infrastructure providers, such as Stripe for payment processing, who act as data processors on our behalf.
- With SMS technology providers for the operation of our support channel (see section 4.6).
- With our distribution network partners, where you have opted to share your business listings to attract bookings.
- Where required to comply with law, a court order or a reasonable request from a law enforcement or regulatory authority.
We do not sell personal data. We do not share personal data with third parties for marketing purposes without your explicit consent.
We transfer personal data to third parties only where:
- you have given express consent under Article 6(1)(a) GDPR;
- transfer is necessary for the performance of a contract with you under Article 6(1)(b) GDPR;
- a statutory obligation requires transfer under Article 6(1)(c) GDPR; or
- transfer is necessary for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.
6. International data transfers
Beyonk is headquartered in London, United Kingdom with operations in the United States and Brazil. Your data may be transferred to and processed in these or other jurisdictions.
Where we transfer personal data from the UK or EU to countries without an adequacy decision, we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) as the lawful transfer mechanism. We have entered into data processing agreements with all non-UK/EU sub-processors which incorporate SCCs and define appropriate security standards.
We contractually require our sub-processors to notify us promptly of any data breach or security incident.
7. Retention of data
We retain your personal data for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected, or as required by applicable law. Specific retention periods include:
- Account and transaction data: retained for the duration of your account and for up to 7 years following
termination, to meet financial and legal record-keeping obligations. - SMS support data: retained for up to 24 months from the date of the conversation.
- Marketing preferences: retained until you withdraw consent or opt out.
Where data may be subject to a legal claim, we may retain it beyond these periods for as long as reasonably necessary. We will delete your data within 30 days of receiving a valid deletion request, subject to any legal retention obligations. Both you and the relevant business will be notified upon deletion.
8. Data security
Beyonk maintains appropriate technical and organisational security measures to protect your personal data against accidental loss, misuse, alteration, destruction or unauthorised access. Access to personal data is restricted to authorised personnel and contractors on a strict need-to-know basis.
Whilst we take industry-standard steps to protect your data, no transmission over the internet can be guaranteed as fully secure. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential.
9. Your rights

10. Opting out of communications
You may opt out of marketing communications at any time by using the unsubscribe link in any email, or by contacting us at support@beyonk.com.
There are certain operational communications you cannot opt out of while your account is active, as these are necessary for the proper functioning of the service. These include booking confirmations, system updates and support responses.
To opt out of SMS support communications, reply STOP to any message received from Beyonk's support number.
11. Other websites
Our website contains links to third-party websites not operated by Beyonk. This privacy policy does not cover those websites. Please review the privacy policy of each website you visit. Beyonk's booking system is embedded across a wide range of third-party sites; this policy covers only the Beyonk system itself, not the websites it is hosted on.
12. Cookie policy
